One step polishing to compare the mean surface roughness of nanohybrid and microhybrid composite resins

Objectives: This study's goal was to compare the mean surface roughness of nano hybrid and micro composites using a one-step polishing method. comparison made based on idea that material with reduced will exhibit superior perishability, aesthetics, & optical properties, which means less wear, staining, low plaque, caries rate. Methodology: comparative study carried out in April 2023 at Ayub Medical College Abbottabad, Pakistan, sample size 100 (50 each group), determined by WHO calculator. Using mechanical stainless steel template, 120 composite resin specimens mounted acrylic blocks dimensions 2 mm x 3 were created. Results: samples, separated into two groups, used this study. According descriptive statistics, standard deviations for Nano Group A recorded as 0.076+0.025 Micro B, they 0.001+0.036. Conclusion: After procedure, there is noticeable difference between resins, indicating former has higher polish ability than latter.
